Volunteer at the Auckland City Mission

2016

I recently joined the volunteers of the Auckland City Mission. I believe in helping those often vulnerable people who have fallen through the cracks of our society. 

Permaculture and Bee Keeping

2015

Discovering, through a self directed university project, the pleasures of permaculture as well as its integration with my personal belifes, I have developed a passion for sustainably sourced foodstuffs and have embarked on a bee keeping course.

A passion for creating beautiful dishes with nutritional quality and flavourful combinations; international fusion which may have resulted in some triumphs and disasters.

Yoga

I enjoy learning about different yoga and meditation practices in my travels, and then integrating it into my daily routine.  

NZSIA Ski Instructor Qualifications

2008

Completed my NZSIA ski instructor qualifications. Avalanche and first aid training.

 

RYA Competent Crew Sailing Qualification

2007

The RYA Competent Crew Course was a week long, 24/7 training. Learning the basic principles of sailing, as well as the sailing language and all the secrets of how to live onboard a cruising yacht, to enable you to become an invaluable crew member. It was a great ‘hands on’ practical course.
